St. Joseph’s Hospital in Arizona, Creighton University Launch New Medical School Campus

St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix and Omaha, Neb.-based Creighton University have partnered to open a regional medical school campus in Phoenix.

Known as Creighton University’s School of Medicine Regional Campus at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Arizona, the medical school’s first classes begin this summer and will train 42 medical students.

Students at the new medical school campus begin their studies in Omaha and complete their last two years of medical school in Phoenix on St. Joseph’s hospital campus. The Creighton-St. Joseph’s partnership is the second allopathic medical school in Arizona to offer a doctor of medicine degree.
