Southern Ocean Medical Center Opens Phase 2 of $22M ED Expansion

Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, N.J., is expected to open the second phase of a $22 million emergency department expansion in August, according to a Press of Atlantic City report.

Both phases of the expansion have resulted in nearly 20,000 square feet of newly constructed space. The newly-expanded ED also features 42 private bays.

The first phase of the expansion was opened in January, according to the report.
