Southampton Hospital in New York Plans New Heart and Stroke Center

Southampton (N.Y.) Hospital is planning a new heart and stroke facility using a $5 million gift from the Audrey & Martin Gruss Foundation, according to an East Hampton Patch report.

The Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart and Stroke Center will consolidate the hospital’s cardiovascular programs and expand its services, according to the report.

The center will include a new advanced endovascular surgical suite, a noninvasive cardiovascular suite, an advanced heart and stroke monitoring center and a stroke and heart simulation center.
