CMS Extends Inpatient, Outpatient Reporting Deadline for Certain Hospital Data

CMS has extended deadlines for certain measures under the hospital outpatient and inpatient quality reporting programs.

Under both programs, CMS has extended the deadline for reporting population and sampling data and chart abstracted data to Aug. 8. Outpatient structural measures under the outpatient quality reporting program and inpatient 1Q 2012 chart abstracted data are still due Aug. 15.
