Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Comprising the Seattle Children’s Hospital, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington Medical Center, the SCCA is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Northwest. In 2014, more than 300 alliance oncologists, surgeons and other clinicians treated over 6,000 patients for many types of cancers. It is a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers and holds many accreditations, including the Joint Commission, the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy, the American College of Radiology and the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.
