Scripps Health unveiled the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute in 2015. The institute is a large comprehensive center dedicated to cardiovascular medicine, research and training. Scripps La Jolla Hospitals and Clinics, part of Scripps Health, ranked No. 28 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery in U.S. News & World Report’s 2016-17 rankings. Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla earned a spot on Truven Health Analytics’ 2016 list of 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals. Scripps Green Hospital, Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego are all Blue Distinction Centers for Cardiac Care.
