Saint Louis University Hospital to Open Bone Marrow Transplant Center

Saint Louis University Hospital based in St. Louis will open the region’s first outpatient bone marrow transplant center later this month, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

The $3 million, 10,000-square-foot center houses 16 rooms. SLU Hospital expects that within a few years, approximately 100 patients a year will receive transplants at the center.
