Henry Ford Hospital Opens New Center for Cancer Surgery

Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System announced the opening of the new Center for Cancer Surgery at its Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Henry Ford Hospital opened its new Center for Cancer SurgeryThe center offers surgical treatment for a range of cancers, including breast, head and neck, gastroenterology, gynecology, liver, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pancreas, thoracic and urology. The facility also provides same-day appointments, personal care coordinators and nurse navigators, patient concierge services, a 24/7 call line and on-campus housing.

The center also houses the state’s first intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging scanner, according to the release.
