Saint Anne’s Hospital in Massachusetts to End Cardiac Rehab Program

Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, Mass., part of Boston-based Steward Health Care System, plans to end its cardiac rehabilitation program next month, according to a SouthCoast Today report.

Steward spokesman Christopher Murphy wrote in an emailed statement, “We determined that we could better meet the needs of the community by ending the program and committing the resources to more heavily utilized services at our hospital,” according to the report.

Saint Anne’s will continue to offer diagnostic cardiac testing and cardiac care.
