U.S. World & News Report rated Rush as high performing in knee and hip replacement this year and ranked it as the No. 4 hospital in the nation for orthopedics for 2016-17. The surgeons of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, which staffs the hospital’s orthopedic department, include the team physicians for the Chicago Bulls NBA team and Chicago White Sox MLB team. Rush University Medical Center received The Joint Replacement Excellence Award from Healthgrades for 2017.
