Riverside Medical Center (Kankakee, Ill.). Riverside Medical Center is Kankakee-based Riverside Health’s 312-bed community hospital. The facility includes a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, and is a Level II trauma center. Truven Health Analytics named Riverside Medical Center among the 100 Top Hospitals in 2017 for the eighth time, and the hospital was also a Truven 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospital in 2016. The hospital earned the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Heart Care this year and Healthiest Employer’s Healthiest 100 Places to Work in America distinction in 2016.
