Montgomery, Ala.-based Baptist Health has formed an agreement to acquire Montgomery Cancer Center, according to a health system news release.
Under the agreement, Baptist will acquire MCC, Montgomery Breast Center and Carmichael Imaging. MCC includes 13 physicians.
The acquisition does not include MCC’s radiation-oncology practice, which will maintain its current status as an independent entity on the Montgomery Cancer Center campus.
