The new 521,000-square-foot facility will add 150 patient beds to the current 293,000-square-foot hospital, bringing the total number of beds on-site to 361. The project will also add space for advanced diagnostic and treatment therapies, new patient care units and expanded support services.
The hospital will have sustainable design features, such as on-site water collection and storage, wind turbines and lighting power reductions.
The new hospital is expected to open to patients in December 2016.
