Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health has appointed Joseph Bavaria, MD, as executive director of the Bruce & Robbi Toll Heart and Vascular Institute and chair of the department of cardiac surgery at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College, also in Philadelphia.
