Dr. Massof, who is a member of the Baltimore Brooklyn Lions Club, was one of several Lions clubs members to receive the “Champions of Change” honor at an event co-hosted by the White House and Lions Clubs International.
Dr. Massof is a professor of ophthalmology neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He works to restore and enhance the sight of people with low vision through technology, including developing the Low Vision Enhancement System. The LVES system is designed to compensate for low vision by altering images to make them easier for people to perceive using the vision that remains.
