The center, located in Sequim, Wash., was previously known as the Thomas Family Cancer Center in honor of a donor. The name is now changing because Olympic Medical Center Foundation and the donor, Rand Thomas, agreed to cancel the contract five years early for an undisclosed reason.
The cancer center was named for the Thomas family in 2007 when it pledged an annual gift to the center of $15,000 for ten years.
