Columbus-based OhioHealth has appointed George Simon, MD, as vice president of the system’s oncology services.
Before stepping into his new role, Dr. Simon served as executive medical director and department chair at Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center, according to an April 7 news release from OhioHealth.
He previously served as a professor of medicine and section chief of translational research for Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson’s department of thoracic, head and neck medical oncology.
