Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health System has acquired Ridgewood, Va.-based Valley Heart Group, according to a Cliffview Pilot report.
System officials say the acquisition of the five-member practice will enhance Valley Health’s ability to provide the best possible cardiac care. Valley Heart cardiologist Howard Goldschmidt, MD, said joining the health system will streamline the process of specialty referral and reduce the needless duplication of services.
