NYU Langone Medical Center (New York City). NYU Langone Medical Center was ranked No. 11 for cardiology and heart surgery in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. U.S. News & World Report also named the medical center a high-performing hospital for heart failure and heart bypass surgery in its common care ratings. In addition, NYU Langone Medical Center has received Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for nursing excellence. The John Wyckoff Adult Cardiology Clinic was renamed the Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology in 2002 after a donation from a longtime friend of the medical center.
