The health system partnered with the American Cancer Society on an initiative to improve colorectal cancer screening rates and provided prepaid return envelopes for mail-in FIT kits at all of its facilities, according to a March 12 NYC Health + Hospitals news release.
FIT-testing instructions were available in 14 languages to increase patient engagement and accessibility, the release said.
