Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in New York to Close, Relocate Services

Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y., will close and move its services to Gates Vascular Institute and Buffalo General Medical Center March 28, according to a WVIB report.

The move will consolidate the two hospital’s specialists in one location. Millard Fillmore Gates Circle’s emergency room will remain open until the last minute, according to the report.

The hospital has launched a design/development competition (pdf) to reuse the vacant building with a prize of $1 million.
