The center will be located on Syosset (N.J.) Hospital’s campus and will offer services related to lifestyle, health and well-being for those who would like to lose between 10 and 100 pounds and who are not bariatric surgery candidates.
For bariatric surgery candidates, the center will operate a six-month preoperative program designed to maximize surgical outcomes.
The center aims to offer comprehensive and humanistic care to overweight or obese individuals in hopes of reducing their risks of chronic conditions and complications associated with obesity.
