New Hospital Opens in Palm Beach County, Fla.

Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, Fla., has officially opened and is treating patients, according to a report by the South Florida Business Journal.

The $53 million facility replaces the 60-year-old Glades General Hospital.

Lakeside features 70 beds and was originally scheduled to open in early 2010. However, it was completed four months early, according to the report.
