New Hampshire system taps surgical leader for new cardiac center

Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System has tapped Gerald Sardella, MD, to lead the cardiac surgery program at the system’s new heart and vascular center.

Dr. Sardella will build and launch the center’s open heart surgery program, according to a Jan. 21 news release from the health system. 

Elliot Health System recently integrated its cardiovascular consultant, vascular surgery and cardiac surgery lines into the Elliot Heart and Vascular Center. 

The Elliot Heart and Vascular Center is led by Executive Medical Director Carl Fier, MD.
