Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital (Greensboro, N.C.). Staffed by more than 50 cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and vascular surgeons, the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital Heart and Vascular Center is one of the state’s premier cardiovascular care facilities. In 2015, the center earned three stars — the highest rating — from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, an accomplishment Moses H. Cone shares with only a dozen heart programs in the country. This designated Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care was also ranked No. 21 in the nation for cardiac care in CareChex’s 2016 rankings.
