Eighteen independent cardiologists from The Oregon Clinic in Portland will join Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services, effective July 1, according to an article from the Lund Report.
Craig Fausel, MD, CEO and president of The Oregon Clinic, said the clinic will survive while its cardiologists depart. “This won’t hinder The Oregon Clinic in its clinical mission, and we’ll work with the former cardiologists in the same constructive, collaborative ways that [we] always have regarding patient care,” Dr. Fausel said in the report.
