Mission Health, CarePartners to Affiliate

Asheville, N.C.-based health systems CarePartners Health Services and Mission Health announced they have entered into a nonbinding memorandum of understanding in which CarePartners will become an affiliated member of Mission Health.

Care Partners Health Services and Mission Health have signed a memorandum of understanding to affiliateThe systems have collaborated frequently in recent years to provide services across patients’ care continuum, according to a news release. Due diligence will begin immediately, although no expected date of completion or financial details of the proposed affiliation were announced.

Mission Health operates six acute-care hospitals throughout North Carolina. CarePartners operates several outpatient facilities and focuses on post-acute care services such as rehabilitation, home health, palliative care and hospice.
