Michigan Cancer Center, Health Systems Partner to Build Outpatient Cancer Center

Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, Mercy Memorial Hospital System in Monroe, Mich., and Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica Health System are joining together as equal partners to build a $5 million outpatient cancer center in Monroe, according to a report in Crain’s Detroit Business.

Ground will break on the 10,000-square foot facility early next year, and the facility is expected to be completed in 2011, according to the report.
