Methodist Hospital in Houston to Open Neurological Tumor Treatment Center

The Methodist Hospital in Houston has announced plans to open a specialized center for brain and pituitary tumor patients.

The Kenneth R. Peak Brain & Pituitary Tumor Treatment Center will feature neurosurgical and cancer treatment options, and will provide patients access to exclusive research studies. Integrated with the Methodist Cancer Center, the new center will be located inside Methodist Hospital’s current outpatient facility.

The center is the result of a $10 million gift from Mr. Peak, former chairman and CEO of Contango Oil & Gas Co.
