Skiff Medical Center in Iowa Opens Phillips Imaging Center

Skiff Medical Center in Newton, Iowa, has opened its new Phillips Imaging Center, according to a WHO TV report.

The center includes a new CT scanner that delivers lower doses of radiation and a new Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI, which was recently approved by the FDA. The MRI is designed for patient comfort, with mood lighting, video, sound and a larger opening for the patient.
