The center was unveiled as the Larry D. Johnson Heart & Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center after a $10 million gift in 2023 from the Suzie and Larry Johnson Foundation. The money supported the institute’s expansion and expansion of Memorial Hermann Life Flight, according to a March 8 system news release.

The Larry D. Johnson Heart & Vascular Institute is a 230,000-square-foot facility.
