The new LEED-certified, 13,000-square-foot facility will employ 12 people. Mayo Clinic radiation oncology leaders and staff, Northfield Mayor Mary Rossing and leaders from St. Olaf College and Northfield Hospital and Clinics will be in attendance at the grand opening.
According to an earlier local news report, the treatment center was proposed in order to meet the needs of patients who would have otherwise needed to drive more than an hour to receive radiation
