Mayo Health System Changes Name

Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Health System is changing its name to Mayo Clinic Health System effective today, according to a Mayo Clinic news release.

The system’s regional locations will also change their name. For instance, Albert Lea (Minn.) Medical Center is now Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, according to an Albert Lea Tribune report.

Mayo’s name change is part of its plan to expand its care to patients locally.
