Philadelphia’s Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Renames Three Hospitals

Philadelphia-based Albert Einstein Healthcare Network has renamed three hospitals as part of a system-wide rebranding initiative, according to a Times Herald report.

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia was renamed Einstein Medical Center. Einstein at Elkins Park (Pa.), a 60-bed facility, was renamed Einstein Medical Center – Elkins Park.

The third hospital undergoing a name change is currently under construction in East Norriton, Pa. The $360 million facility will be called Einstein Medical Center – Montgomery. Inpatient services at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown will transfer to the new facility once it opens.
