St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix has partnered with the Arizona Cancer Center for cancer research and patient care, according to an Arizona Republic report.
The affiliation precedes the development of ACC’s $135 million cancer center in downtown Phoenix, which is expected to open by 2014. The original ACC is in Tucson under the University of Arizona. Under the agreement, ACC physicians and staff can work with St. Joseph’s on clinical research while also working in the hospital’s facilities.
