Mary Ellen Pratt. CEO of Saint James Parish Hospital (Lutcher, La.). Since 2007, Ms. Pratt has served as CEO of St. James Parish Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital. In this role, she helped the hospital complete a replacement construction project and relocated the hospital to a new facility. During her tenure, Ms. Pratt received the QHR CEO Award for Most Increased Admissions in 2009 and the QHR CEO Award for Best Performing Critical Access Hospital in 2010. Ms. Pratt is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Rural Health Association in addition to serving on a number of boards representing small or rural hospitals.
