Mr. Golisano challenged the community to raise $20 million, which he will match, for a replacement facility for The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Lee Memorial Health System plans to build a 128-bed children’s hospital that will consolidate medical and ancillary specialty pediatric services.
The new hospital is expected to open in 2016.
