As part of the agreement, Meadowview purchased OVH’s equipment and the practice’s two cardiologists will become employees of the hospital. The practice’s third cardiologist left the practice prior to the merger, according to the report.
The practice and the hospital have been in talks for several months and have had a long-standing relationship. Meadowview acquired OVH’s cardiac catheterization lab in 2008, according to the report.
