Kaiser Permanente Announces Four New Colorado Locations

The Colorado arm of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente announced it will open four new medical centers in the Denver area within the next five years, according to a report in the Denver Business Journal.

The four new facilities are expected to add 100 new jobs to the area in addition to a fifth Kaiser facility that is opening this fall, according to the report.

The new medical centers are:

  • A 120,000 square-foot specialty center that includes a gastroenterology lab, ambulatory surgery center, general and orthopedic surgery area, radiology center, pharmacy and laboratory;
  • Two primary-care focused centers slated to open in 2011; and
  • A medical office building that should open in 2012 or 2013.

Kaiser currently has 20 locations in Colorado, according to the report.
