Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore). Johns Hopkins Hospital was ranked No. 16 for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16. The Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute comprises an array of centers of excellence, such as the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure Center, the Center for Inherited Heart Diseases and the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease. The hospital was one of only 319 hospitals in the U.S. to receive the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR ACTION Registry-GWTG Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2015.
