Children’s National in D.C. Opens New Cardiac ICU

Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., has opened a new cardiac intensive care unit, according to a hospital news release.

The 34,000-square-foot unit includes 26 private rooms and a simulation room for real-time teaching. The rooms feature new technology allowing physicians to continuously monitor patients’ brain functions.
