Hospitals Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month With “Pink Glove Dance” Videos

Approximately 150 hospitals, surgery centers and other healthcare providers have submitted videos of their staff performing a “pink glove dance” to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The videos, which can be viewed at pinkglovedance.com, are part of a contest sponsored by Medline industries. Winners will be chosen by the number of votes (submitted by “liking” the video of Facebook) as well as other criteria. The top three videos will receive donations in their name to a breast cancer charity of their choice in the amounts of $10,000, $5,000 and $2,000, respectively.

Currently, Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C., leads with more than 26,400 votes.

Winners will be announced Oct. 28.
