Members of HRG’s C.A.R.E team, an internal employee committee dedicated to organizing company sponsorships and corporate events took the lead in fundraising efforts for the Illuminating Courage memorial.
“There are quite a few employees at HRG that have served or have family members that have served in the United States Armed Services,” said Greg West, President of Healthcare Resource Group. He goes on to say, “that is why as an employee owned company, we are honored to show how much we appreciate those fallen heroes from around our country and right here in our state”.
The United States Army flagpole sponsored by HRG located at the Illuminating Courage memorial, has a plaque that reads. With gratitude to all who serve, past present and future, Healthcare Resource Group. Washington State’s Gold Star Families hosted a dedication ceremony of the Illuminating Courage memorial mid-November of 2015, where each branch of armed services were memorialized.
Members of HRG’s leadership as well as C.A.R.E team and employee owners attended the event. What started as a dirt lot two months earlier, turned into something that means so much to the community and Gold Star Families. HRG raised over $3,600.00 to donate to this project.
