Harris Frankel, MD. Senior Vice President and CMO of Nebraska Medicine (Omaha). After spending 21 years in private practice, Dr. Frankel joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center and became CMO in January 2014. As a board certified physician in physiatry and neurology, Dr. Frankel also serves as the medical director for UNMC Physicians Clinical Neurosciences Center. He is a past president of the Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society and president-elect of the Nebraska Medical Association. While president of the Nebraska Medical Association, Dr. Frankel spearheaded the organization’s electronic health records task force.
