Gwinnett Medical Center in Georgia Unveils $33M Heart Center

Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Ga., has opened the Strickland Heart Center after 18 months of construction, according to a hospital news release.

The 40,000-square-foot, $33 million facility includes two cardiac catheterization labs, two open-heart surgery operating rooms and an admission and recovery unit with 12 private recovery bays.

Gwinnett Medical Center opened its catheterization labs this month and will launch its open-heart surgery program in January.
