Columbia University, Chinese Center for Disease Control Partner for Beijing Pathogen Discovery Lab

Columbia University in New York City has announced a partnership with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention to open a research laboratory for pathogen discovery.

Focused on identifying and preventing threats to global health, the laboratory will conduct surveillance, identify new infectious microbes, establish platforms for diagnostics and develop drugs and vaccines.
