The UAMS Radiation Oncology Center is part of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. Its opening makes UAMS the exclusive provider of radiation oncology services on the campus, as previously the service was provided in partnership with CARTI, a radiation therapy provider. CARTI’s affiliation with UAMS ended June 29.

UAMS is replacing the radiation oncology center’s two linear accelerators with new models.
