Saint Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey Opens Liver Center

Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, N.J., has opened a liver center, according to a Newark Patch report.

The Liver Center will provide clinical research, medical treatment and minimally invasive surgical and radiologic hepato-pancreato-biliary interventions.

The center’s opening follows updated CDC guidelines on viral hepatitis screenings.
