The 175,000-square-foot facility was created by renovating two existing buildings and is adjacent to the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas, which opened in March 2011. The cancer center and cancer hospital are fully integrated to facilitate the transition from inpatient to outpatient services. These facilities and a new parking garage are part of a $375 million construction project.
