Driscoll Children’s to unveil $100M heart center expansion

Corpus Christi, Texas-based Driscoll Children’s Hospital is set to unveil the newly expanded Driscoll Children’s Hospital Heart Center at a June 5 ceremony.

The expansion represents a $100 million investment in pediatric heart care, according to a May 27 news release shared with Becker’s.

The hospital has added more than 50,000 square feet of dedicated cardiac care space, including two cardiac operating rooms, two cardiac catheterization labs and a 35-bed cardiac intensive care unit, the release said.
